An easy to use BASIC language
and IDE for education.

ComputerMasti has created an open-source Computer Science curriculum for grades 9-12 and it includes BASIC-256 as one of the programming languages covered. This exciting project uses a "spiral model" to reinforce learning in a light "narrative style". In addition to programming with BASIC-256, other topics include ergonomics, mind mapping, text editing, presentations, and much much more.
